This map shows the location and approximate size of the many VFX hub cities in the Visual Effects World Atlas. As with all of the maps and charts in the atlas, it does not capture every VFX professional and company worldwide. Instead it shows the 55,000+ individuals and 560 companies included in the dataset for the atlas.

You can zoom and pan across the map, and move your mouse cursor over each city to see the number VFX professionals identified by our study. We recommend clicking the full screen icon in the bottom right to see the map with more detail (desktop computers only, not available on mobile).
